The Pieces

Below are a few of the key images I've sourced for thesis. Although not immediately clear to you on how they all come together; for me they have been the basis of what is currently 20sqft of representations hanging above my desk, and what will probably end up being almost 60sqft of work by the end of December.

How this thesis is coming together is interesting. I'm not stressed. I'm not anxious [except to present my work in front of my father this time]. I think I'm more surprised than anything else. It hasn't been difficult, but it hasn't been easy either. Instead the process I've developed has proven to be rich with meaning, reference, personal opinion, poetics, and texture. What I can say is that it has been quite successful so far in expressing the goals of the thesis. And that makes me happy.
